Our Story
Back in 2011, something shifted in me and I began a bit of a journey of self discovery. My life, just as many others, has been filled with twists and turns, triumphs and tragedies but for whatever reason 2011 stands out as a pivotal year for me. It was also the year the vision for komaia was first realised as i began to learn complementary and holistic therapies.
Fast forward a few years and through a whole series of events that I'd need a much bigger page to tell you about and we're here!
It gives me butterflies to now look around me and realise we have created the dream, we have this magical space set in the heart of Honeybee Sanctuary where participants can self-reflect and reconnect with themselves in a beautiful and serene atmosphere.
Physical and mental wellbeing are of utmost importance to living a healthy life, and require practice and dedication. Our Retreats provide the setting and guidance you need to strengthen your body, mind and soul.
